Production Associate/Assembler/Quality Inspector

Job Overview
Eon Instrumentation, Inc. a US Defense and Aerospace contractor, is seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Production Associate/Assembler/Quality Inspector to join our manufacturing team. This role involves assembling products, conducting quality inspections, and ensuring compliance with industry standards such as ISO 9001:2015 and AS9100D. The ideal candidate will have strong analysis skills, proficiency with precision measuring instruments, and experience with quality systems to maintain high standards of product quality and safety. Responsibilities

  • Assemble components accurately according to detailed specifications and work instructions
  • Conduct thorough quality inspections using calipers, micrometers, vision inspection systems, and other precision measuring instruments

Skills

  • Proficiency with Soldering, IPC-A-610 certificate
  • Ability to assemble electronic components
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical skills for identifying deviations or defects

Senior Electrical Engineer

Eon Instrumentation, Inc., an established defense and aerospace contractor based in Van Nuys, CA, is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer with strong expertise in Power Circuit Design, PCB layout, and firmware development. This is an excellent opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects that support critical defense and aerospace programs while enjoying a collaborative, innovative work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform Power Circuit Design for analog and digital electronics designs
  • Lead PCB layout from concept through production release
  • Develop and debug firmware for microcontrollers and FPGAs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to integrate hardware and firmware solutions
  • Support testing, troubleshooting, and verification of designs to meet program requirements
  • Create and maintain clear technical documentation, including design specifications and test procedures

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in:
  • Expertise in Power Circuit Design
  • Schematic capture and PCB layout for analog and digital electronics
  • Firmware development for microcontrollers and FPGAs
  • Strong email, verbal communication, specification, and documentation skills
  • U.S. citizenship required
  • Local candidates and principals only (no agencies)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience writing Data Items (Contractor Data Requirements List)
  • Skilled in designing interfaces between the data link and physical layers in the OSI Model
  • Familiarity with configuration management tools such as SOLIDWORKS PDM or similar
  • Knowledge of relevant MIL-STDs, including DO-254
  • Experience with industry-standard video protocols:
  • SMPTE 259, 292, 424 (SD, HD, 3G-SDI)
  • NTSC
  • HDMI/DVI
  • DisplayPort
  • VGA
  • MPEG-4/H.264 encoding

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary range: $185,000 – $200,000/year (based on qualifications and experience), plus performance based year-end discretionary bonus

Quality Management Specialist

Role Description: This is a full-time role for a Quality Management Associate based in Van Nuys. The Quality Management Associate will be responsible for implementing and maintaining quality management systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards, conducting quality control tests, and overseeing quality assurance procedures. The Associate will also analyze data, prepare reports, and communicate findings to relevant departments.

Salary Range: $90,000 to $100,000 per Year depending on experience.
