Blanking Control Systems

Interference Blankers are LRU’s that accept blanking pulses from high powered on-board emitters such as radars and create blanking suppression signals to disable sensitive receivers during such strong transmissions.  All Interference Blanking System products are military qualified to MilStd810/461/704/1275/901D; DO160; and other applicable specifications.  Standard power input is 28vdc (18-36) for smaller applications such as airborne and 115VAC/60hz 3phase for larger shipboard applications.   Standard connector types/impedance can be easily modified.   Input blanking pulses can be adjusted for the output triggering threshold, pulse width, and delay of the suppression signal and can be combined into one or more outputs.  Depending on the model these adjustments can be made using potentiometer controls on the unit or via a computer workstation to create a blanking map that gets downloaded into the units memory.
