EON Instrumentation Awarded $7 Million PCAB Redesign and Production Contract
Eon Instrumentation received a Redesign and Production contract valued at $7 million from NSWC Crane Division for the Pre-Trigger Converter and Blanker (PCAB) for the AEGIS Program. The Navy previously awarded Eon, as prime contractor the development and LRIP contract for the PCAB. The PCAB, or SLA-10D unit, replaces the legacy SLA-10B unit on the AEGIS system. NSWC Crane also previously awarded Eon a PCAB Production contract valued at $6.5 million in 2017. Eon will be handling the work for this new Redesign and Production contract both at its Headquarters in Van Nuys, California and its facility in Oceanside, California. Eon’s President and CEO, Greg Ford, commented: “The US Navy continues to look to Eon Instrumentation for critical support such as the PCAB Redesign and Production contract for the AEGIS system.
