EON Instrumentation Awarded $7 Million PCAB Redesign and Production Contract
Eon Instrumentation received a Redesign and Production contract valued at $7 million from NSWC Crane Division for the Pre-Trigger Converter and Blanker (PCAB) for the AEGIS Program. The Navy previously awarded Eon, as prime contractor the development and LRIP contract for the PCAB. The PCAB, or SLA-10D unit, replaces the legacy SLA-10B unit on the AEGIS system. NSWC Crane also previously awarded Eon a PCAB Production contract valued at $6.5 million in 2017. Eon will be handling the work for this new Redesign and Production contract both at its Headquarters in Van Nuys, California and its facility in Oceanside, California.
